What are we looking for

This fixed-term position has been established to support the organisation during a period of digital transformation and the initial development of its compliance and governance framework. The role operates under the close supervision and strategic guidance of the Director of Clinical Operations, Quality & Compliance and supports the delivery of digital transformation and compliance initiatives. It is not intended to operate independently but as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

Your Responsibilities

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

• Support the identification, evaluation and implementation of digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
• Support digital transformation initiatives across the organisation by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive adoption of new technologies.
• Support the evaluation of emerging technologies, including AI-supported solutions, and assess their suitability within a regulated healthcare environment.
• Support the evaluation of new technologies against organisational governance, compliance, information security and data protection requirements.
• Assist with user acceptance testing, documentation and implementation of new digital tools.

COMPLIANCE & REGULATORY ANALYSIS

• Monitor and analyse legal and regulatory developments affecting healthcare, digitalisation and information governance, and assess their operational impact.
• Analyse new legal and regulatory developments and assess their operational impact on the organisation.
• Support the review and development of internal policies, SOPs and governance documentation.
• Support the development and initial implementation of the organisation’s Compliance Management System (CMS).
• Assist in internal compliance reviews, audits and risk assessments.
• Support compliance gap analyses and support the implementation of remediation actions.
• Support the establishment and documentation of governance frameworks and compliance processes.
• Prepare reports, briefing papers and management presentations.

INFORMATION GOVERNANCE & DATA PROTECTION

• Support compliance with GDPR, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and internal confidentiality requirements.
• Assist in reviewing processes involving sensitive health and personal data.
• Support the preparation and documentation of data protection impact assessments and documentation where required.
• Support the assessment of third-party providers and digital solutions from a data protection, compliance and information governance perspective.
• Promote best practices regarding confidentiality, data security and responsible information management.
• Support governance activities related to AI-supported solutions and emerging digital technologies.

PROJECT SUPPORT

• Support the coordination of assigned work packages within digital transformation and compliance projects.
• Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes and progress reports.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track compliance-related actions, risks and deliverables across digital transformation initiatives.
• Support change management and communication activities associated with organisational transformation.

You are/have

• Master's degree in Law (MLaw) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Ideal opportunity for graduates seeking practical experience before undertaking the Swiss Bar Examination. Strong interest in digital transformation, innovation and legal technology.
• Interest in healthcare law, and data protection.
• Interest in compliance, governance and organisational transformation.
• Ability to analyze complex legal and translate them into practical recommendations.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, while working under close supervision within a multidisciplinary team.
• High level of integrity and discretion when working with confidential and sensitive information.
• Affinity for digital technologies and willingness to explore emerging digital solutions, including AI applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written - C1 level).
• Familiarity with digital collaboration platforms and AI-supported productivity tools is an advantage.

  • Develop the professional judgement, stakeholder management and communication skills required to progress into future roles in legal, compliance, governance or regulatory affairs.
You will receive close guidance while progressively taking ownership of defined projects and responsibilities as your knowledge and confidence develop.
