What are we looking for
The Psychologist will play a key role within the Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Department, contributing to the comprehensive assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients in a multidisciplinary clinical environment. The role includes conducting psychometric assessments, delivering psychoeducational and counselling interventions, supporting neuromodulation therapies, and contributing to the ongoing development and optimisation of clinical and operational processes.

This position requires a high level of clinical competence, professional integrity, organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, supporting the clinic’s mission to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care.
Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments and administer standardized psychometric tests, including intelligence, personality, neurocognitive, and mood measures
  • Interpret and document test results and provide clinical recommendations to the psychiatry team
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and supportive therapy
  • Serve as co-therapist in specialised interventions (e.g., family constellation, adventure therapy, exposure therapy) when needed
  • Act as a therapist within youth and family programmes
  • Support the intake process through psychological screenings and diagnostic formulation
  • Participate in neuromodulation treatment sessions (e.g., rTMS, tDCS), ensuring patient preparation and monitoring, if applicable
  • Deliver psychoeducation to patients and families to promote understanding of psychiatric conditions and treatment engagement
  • Contribute to treatment planning and interdisciplinary case discussions with psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals
  • Maintain the psychometric testing database with accurate, confidential, up-to-date records
  • Develop, implement, and monitor psychological protocols and documentation standards with the Clinical Director and Head of Psychiatry
  • Support quality assurance, clinical audits, and outcome measurement initiatives
  • Participate in case conferences, supervision, and continuing professional development
  • Support ongoing relationship management with continuing care and long-term clients
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including outreach, referral networks, and partnerships
  • Represent the clinic in community engagement and educational events promoting mental health awareness.
  • Assist in managing the professional ecosystem of collaborators, including therapists, psychologists, and referring physicians.
You are/have
  • Registration with, or eligibility for registration with Swiss professional bodies such as the FSP or SBAP.
  • Eligibility to practice as a Psychologist in Switzerland
  • Several years of relevant clinical experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings, ideally with complex and comorbid clinical presentations
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents is considered an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment
  • Excellent command of English at C1 level or above
  • German language proficiency at a minimum B2 level, in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Additional language skills are considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong commitment to compassionate, client-centered care
  • Solid general IT skills and confidence in using digital documentation and clinical systems
  • A valid Category B driving license
