Paediatric Nurse 50%

What are we looking for
The Kusnacht Practice is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our motivated team on a part-time basis (50%). In this vital role, you will be instrumental in providing professional care to our paediatric (12-18 years) and adult clients, where you'll be at the forefront of innovative medical and psychological practices. Your primary responsibilities will involve administering medical treatments, monitoring their progress, collaborating with medical professionals, and ensuring the overall well-being of our paediatric and adult clients during their stay.
Your Responsibilities
  • Provide professional care, ensuring an age-appropriate environment and a compassionate approach
  • Conduct various medical procedures tailored to paediatric and adult clients, including sample collection, tests, and wound care, while ensuring the comfort and cooperation of young clients
  • Perform paediatric-specific and adult medical check-ups for clients, including vital sign assessment
  • Administer infusions, injections, and medications with a focus on paediatric dosages and safe administration techniques
  • Prepare examination rooms to create an age-appropriate environment for paediatric and adult client appointments
  • Manage and maintain paediatric-specific medical equipment
  • Oversee and coordinate medications in collaboration with our doctors, addressing any paediatric dosage adjustments or considerations
  • Provide emotional support and education to paediatric clients and their families, ensuring they understand treatment plans and medication regimens
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet paediatric-specific and adult healthcare needs and assist with nursing-related tasks as needed
You are/have
  • Qualification as a registered nurse HF (ideally with specialisation in KJFF)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar healthcare environment in Switzerland
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, any additional language would be a plus
  • Confidence in performing a range of medical procedures, including but not limited to taking blood samples, administering infusions, and monitoring clients responses 
  • Professional assertiveness, strong teamwork abilities, empathy, and effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and provide clients -centered care
  • A high sense of responsibility, the ability to work independently, and flexibility to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment and clients demands
  • Commits to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must-haves: Swiss driving license cat. B and eligibility to work in Switzerland
